So... what is a Widget you ask?
Widgets are very small free-standing applications that reside on your computer, most people keep them on their desktop as a quick reference. With widgets, you can learn about the current weather conditions, keep track of your stocks, keep current with your calendar/datebook or watch the ups and downs of your favorite sports team.... the uses are endless.
Currently there are two types of Widgets, ones that work on Apple's Dashboard for OSX 10.4 and 10.5 as well as those that work via Yahoo's Widget Engine which work on both Windows computers and Macintosh computers, we make both Yahoo and Dashboard widgets.
If you’re using Safari, in Mac OS X 10.4 Tiger, click the download link. When the widget download is complete, show Dashboard, click the Plus sign to display the Widget Bar and click the widget’s icon in the Widget Bar to open it. If you’re using a browser other than Safari, click the download link. When the widget download is complete, unarchive it and place it in /Library/Widgets/ in your home folder. show Dashboard, click the Plus sign to display the Widget Bar and click the widget’s icon in the Widget Bar to open it.
